ANICAM WITH GRAVURE FUNCTION

The optional module “Gravure Cell Analysis” of the AniCAM was developed to meet the needs of printers wishing to carry out a quality control of their gravure cylinders and particularly to allow registration of the data of new cylinders, checking of their conditions during use and planning of replacements or reparation works.
Internal management of gravure cylinder inventory is crucial to reduce the time spent adjusting colours, ensure constant quality in printing and predict possible problems before printing by determining whether a cylinder is clean or not.
If you want to check the conditions of the cylinder and reduce waste of time and material you have to measure cell volume, depth, channels and wall width.

• A practical and easy to use tool that enables printers to precisely identify every cylinder by correct line screen, screen angle, cell opening, cell walls and channel measurements. In only a few seconds! Thanks to thorough checks and measurements, printers will know the actual conditions of every cylinder in their printing machines and thus be sure of the final results they are going to get.
• The ability to make sure that the cells are not clogged or damaged by means of the digital scanner AniCAM is extremely useful to reduce wastes and costly reprints.
• All measurement related information and images can be printed or exported for use with other 3D software (like Excel or other databases) to compare records with current information. It is therefore possible to monitor anilox changes in volume and their conditions.
• AniCAM is extremely easy to handle and thus the measuring can be done in the printing room or in the cylinder store, making it a very practical, versatile tool for every printing environment.
