Direct Laser Engraving Machines

Lead Lasers B.V.’s machines for direct laser engraving are designed for engraving images on elastomer and polymer printing forms. Image data are transferred directly from the pre-print system to the computer of the machine for online engraving of printing forms. The direct laser engraving removes the non printing parts of the printing forms by evaporation. Lead Lasers’ machines use a CO2 laser, a YAG laser or a combination of both.

Laser engraved sleeves or plates can be used immediately on flexo and letterpress printing machines. Most elastomers only need quick cleaning to remove any dust left by the engraving procedure before printing.

FLEXOSTAR PRINTMASTER MYRIAD
The first laser engraving machine in the world to combine flexo and anilox engraving. A unique combination of CO2 and YAG lasers for a machine with multiple functions. Printmaster Myriad machines can be equipped with a range of different laser powers from 200 to 1200 Watt. Capacity: from 250 to 5000 sm/year.

FLEXOSTAR PRINTMASTER
This machine can be equipped with CO2 lasers and YAG lasers and work in single or hybrid mode. The hybrid version features a CO2 laser + a YAG laser, allowing to get high speed (CO2) and superior resolution (YAG) simultaneously. Capacity: from 250 to 8000 sm/year.

FLEXOSTAR TWINFLEX
Twinflex machines encapsules all the versatile features of Printmaster machines with the addition of a new, unique characteristic: 2 YAG lasers that engrave simultaneously. The results are unique: TOP resolution up to 250 LPI A 5080 DPI engraving at high speed. In short, this is the perfect combination for trade shops, printers and converters wishing to keep up with the latest technological developments. Twinflex IMAGE machines can be equipped with different laser types up to 1200 Watt.

FLEXOSTAR IMAGE
Available in two versions: 1300 mm length with 200 to 600 Watt laser or with CO2 200 to 300 Watt laser. Capacity: 250 – 3100 sm/year
